The founder and executive director of the Ventura Film Festival was invited to join, together with many of Hollywood's biggest stars, in the half-century commemoration of West Side Story and Hollywood's iconic footprint/handprint ceremony celebrating Academy Award winners Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and legendary actor Golden Globe champion Russ Tamblyn at the historic Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This gathering also operated as the official BluRay release by Fox and MGM of the timeless West Side Story, which is universally acknowledged by critics and fans as the greatest musical of all time.
